On the 2nd of August 2008 Hayden and I started our Vege patch again. Only this time it wasn't in polystyrene boxes. We decided to plant everything that we ate!!!. The first pic, we planted all our root veges...carrots, onions beetroot, chives and pumpkin. Strawberries, in the poly boxes and on the right side we planted our greens...Spinach, chinese cabbage, pak choy, lettuce, coriander, garlic, honey snap peas, Roma and hearty beef tomatoes.
SO CHECK THIS OUT!!!

Harvesting the veges was soooo exciting!!!

Spinach and Ricotta Pie
(Spinach from the Garden)
Gardening for our family has always been a great way in teaching Haydee about how things grow and what we can do with the veges when we pull em. Its also been a great time for gospel teaching moments. As well as the many water fights we've had. Much to our dismay though,Haydee doesn't eat veges or fruit. Thank goodness for Deceptive cooking!!! and puree. Spinach and Ricotta pie is about the only healthy thing she will eat. I add bacon to my pie and she loves bacon. And because she loves bacon, and the whole pie tastes like bacon, she's none the wiser. We are really proud of our efforts and by the looks of it, we will be inheriting alot of Tomatoes and about 50+ Pumpkins. "So lookout Molly Mormon" the Armies are in Town.

Man! I cant even compete! I wish that we had room for a garden... it looks amazing!
Wow!, I am totally impressed. Your garden looks so organized and pretty.
Good job "Molly"
So... we eat lots of vegies, so if you have too much feel free to share the wealth...
